Moseley Arts Market - Criteria for Stallholders

The Moseley Arts Market is organised by the Moseley Creative Forum and is held alongside the Farmers Market on the fourth Saturday of every month, in the village green and along Alcester Road.

The following guidelines have been developed to provide an organised framework around which the market and its stallholders can operate.

1. Moseley Arts Market exists to support locally based people working in the creative industries but it is also accessible to stall-holders from outside the area.
2. We want to support people who design and / or make their own products and have few other outlets for their work.
3. If you want to use the Moseley Arts Market then you need to complete an application. You can download this from this web page.
4. We want to ensure good quality products are for sale. Therefore, all products need to be examined by the organisers to ensure they meet ethos and quality that this Market wants to deliver. Moseley Community Development Trust will have final decision on quality and appropriateness of any Trader.
5. Products should be original and not mass produced, unless it's a product that supports people working in the arts and creative industries.
6. Each stallholder is responsible for their products and cash takings, whilst at the market and travelling to and from the market. We do not insure against damage to individual items and you must arrange your own insurance cover.
7. The cost of a full-size stall is £33 and a half-size stall is £16.50. This must be paid at least seven days in advance of the market date. Cheques should be payable to Moseley Community Development Trust.
8. If you fail to use your stall on the day, you will not receive a refund of your stall fee.
9. The Market starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm prompt. Stalls are normally available to use from 8.15am on the day of the Market. The exact position of the stall cannot be guaranteed.
10. You should make you own arrangements to protect your stock should the weather be poor on the day. Stalls are in an exposed position and only offer a canopy for cover.
11. There will be no reimbursement of the fee should the market be cancelled on the day due to bad weather.
12. The Arts Market does not operate in January and February.
