Consultation for Moseley’s Big Plan in 2010 highlighted a range of projects local people wanted to see in place. These ideas have been put together by local community groups into an action plan for Moseley. If you want to know more come and meet us at the Moseley Street Fair on July 4th 2015 in Moseley Village.

Moseley has never been a neighbourhood where people have waited for things to happen. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of Moseley. We hope that local people will take the lead, form groups or join existing ones to help deliver elements of the strategy.
Consultation for Moseley’s Big Plan in 2010 highlighted a range of projects local people wanted to see in place. These ideas have been put together by local community groups into a draft document called the Moseley Regeneration Strategy, see below.
On the 5th April we reviewed and updated the projects in the strategy with the help of local residents and traders. The community were able to join discussions around the following topics:
- the local economy
- historic environments
- leisure and open spaces
- traffic and highways
Young film-makers and reporters
There was the opportunity on the day for young people to work with a professional film-maker to help us capture their views on Moseley. Sam Lockyer from Iconic productions demonstrated of basics of camera and interviewing techniques. He helped young people record their views and produce a summary what young people think. Young were asked to think about "What would you most like to change about living in Moseley and how would you do it?" You can hear some of their thoughts in the short video below.
The Moseley Regeneration Group
Making Moseley is being co-ordinated by the Moseley Regeneration Group; this group is part of the Moseley Community Development Trust. Representatives from other neighbourhood groups attend this group; they share information about local issues and work out collective responses to situations, they also monitor planning / licensing applications that impact Moseley. They also meet with Developers and Council Officers as necessary to understand the impact of proposals on the neighbourhood. Below you can download notes of recent meetings.
