1. How can we make the village centre better?:
Deal with absent landlords - make better use of the flats above the shops, reduce rents.
High street is too busy. Not Pedestrian friendly.
Pavements are too narrow, roads are too wide. Perhaps a car park near the station.
There's an excess of Pubs.
Close the slip road and pedestrianise it.
2. How could we attract more local jobs?:
Create office space for small Businesses.
Only mainly retail and creative industries
Could create offices above shops.
3. How could we make it easier to get to work, school and the shops?:
Wider pavements and cycle lanes.
A local bus able to stop, when and more frequent.
Re-open the railway station.
Introduce a speed limit on main roads
Create a new public space with seating opposite Stanley Place
4. What should we do to protect or improve our historic buildings and parks?:
Market the village better as a key visitor destination in Birmingham.
Have information on Boards about the conservation and heritage value to make people stop.
Promote Moseley Walks
Provide estate agents with information pack about the areas history for new homowners
Open up the moseley park - use it more for public events
5. How can we provide more things to do for young and older people?:
youth centre and lesiure activities
7. How can we make Moseley a greener place to live?:
Green our historic buildings
