1. How can we make the village centre better?:
By pedestrianising the area, only allowing busses and bicycles to move through the centre, by turning the carpark into a proper park. Car parks with shuttle busses from the outskirts.
2. How could we attract more local jobs?:
By creating more art spaces.
3. How could we make it easier to get to work, school and the shops?:
Having a central bus point where all the busses stop, aa train station would be nice. Also, please refer to point 1
4. What should we do to protect or improve our historic buildings and parks?:
Cut down on traffic/ polution in the area. Again refer to point 1
5. How can we provide more things to do for young and older people?:
More green spaces.
6. In the future, what types of homes will be needed?:
Greener homes.
7. How can we make Moseley a greener place to live?:
Cut down on the traffic flowing through the centre.
Any other suggestions you would like to make that will help make Moseley a better place:
Yes, pedestrianising the centre will not only have the desired effects as discussed above but will also make Moseley safer. Hardly a week goes by that the one of the traffic lights at the main intersection doesn't get replaced or there are fatal incidents with pedestrians.
